Through Christ let us continually offer to God the sacrifice of praise, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his Name. But to do good and distribute, forget not; for with such sacrifices, God is well pleased.

Hebrews 13:15-16

At Christ Church, stewardship is not simply about financial resources, although by necessity they play an important part of course.  Through the activities of the Sustaining Stewardship Committee (SSC), the members of the parish are invited to deepen their relationship with God and one another.  The year is divided into two parts: the Spring Time & Talent Campaign and the Fall Financial Pledge Campaign

During the Spring Time & Talent Campaign, we are all invited to consider what non-monetary support we can offer to ensure the work of the church gets done.  A number of activities in which you can participate, according to your personal interests and abilities, are described here.  But don’t let that list deter you from offering other ideas.  We always welcome suggestions and leadership for new activities that will support the worship and mission of the church.  To get started, please fill out the form on this page.

The Fall Financial Pledge Campaign begins in October and is when the SSC educates the entire parish about existing and future financial needs.  We believe all members should recognize that stewardship is not simply a matter of writing a check.  Rather, it is an opportunity to consciously and purposefully engage in being a steward of the church, its worship, and its mission.  To that end, the campaign seeks to remind members of how their financial resources are used and why participation matters.  The Pledge Campaign is important as it allows the vestry to plan as accurately and realistically as possible for the coming year.  That said, new pledges or individual contributions are welcome at any time.

At Christ Church, we have a long history of deeply rooted faith.  We continue to grow and mature in the way we fulfill our mission as a community committed to prayer and service.  Know that you join generations of faithful members whose support formed this unique parish we enjoy today.  Help us continue that tradition to ensure that future generations will benefit from your faith.  Thank you.
