College and University Students

O God, who dost manifest in thy servants the signs of thy presence:
Send forth upon us the Spirit of love, that in companionship with one another
thine abounding grace may increase among us;
through Jesus Christ our Lord.  Amen.
(The Book of Common Prayer)

Christ Church recognizes that, given its geographic location, we benefit from the regular flow of young adults coming to the New Haven area for post-secondary education.  Whether it is Yale University, Gateway Community College, Southern Connecticut State University, the University of New Haven, or any of the other higher education institutions in this area, we are glad you found us.

If you found us through a Google search, by word of mouth or, as many do, through a serendipitous discovery of the Sunday evening Compline service, we hope you feel welcome and that you participate as much as this busy time in your life allows.

Whether you’re interested in participating directly in worship or any of the other volunteer activities needed to support the church, we invite you to learn more.  In addition, you may be interested in joining one of our outreach and urban ministry opportunities.

If you’d like someone to contact you to talk about any or all of these opportunities, simply fill out and submit this form.

Christ Church is also home to a post-undergraduate internship program, St. Hilda’s House.  Information on this opportunity for discernment, growth and service is found here or even better, from talking with a Hildian before Compline or after a Sunday Mass.

And if there is ever a time when you might welcome a conversation with one of our clergy – to explore questions of faith, the life of prayer, or anything of the sort – they will be happy to hear from you.
