The Altar Guild of Christ Church

The Christ Church Altar Guild is a devoted group of parishioners who put in a great deal of time and skill to keep the church as beautiful and well maintained as possible.  People with the love, knowledge, and craft to create often-breath-taking flower arrangements decorate the High Altar, Lady Chapel, and the Shrine to Our Lady weekly.  Indeed, in the more festive seasons of Christmas and Easter, all corners of the church are covered by some beautiful arrangement.  The Guild does the hard work of polishing and cleaning the dozens of brass, silver, and gold ornaments plateware, and Communion ware which cover the altars and give glory to God.  Members of the Guild also do the critical work of minding the condition of the parish's extensive collection of elaborate, beautiful silk vestments and hangings, as well as the more mundane tasks of keeping the white linens as clean and white as possible.  All done to God's honor and glory, the beautiful handiwork of the Guild is a spiritual boon to the whole parish as well.
